Packing slip in box says packaged December 4, 1936 The Wheeling Tile Company, Wheeling, West VA...in business from 1913-1960 These tiles are 4-1/4 inches by 4-1/4 inches without any spacing. These tiles have square edges.
T iles are 3/8 inch thick. Using my digital calipers tiles measure 4.25" wide and .39" thick These tiles were made in the 1920's -1940's Using a vintage Wheeling Tile color chart: see pictures Using a mid-state tile color chart for comparison.
