8 Antique French Hemp Linen Kitchen Tea Towels Made in France In the late 1800's. Each constructed from creamy rustic linen hemp. The fabric remains strong and absorbent despite it's age and will offer many years of use. The towels are in excellent condition. There are no holes, rips or tears. There may be an occasional rust spot. The towels are hemmed top and bottom. The sides are the original selvedge. Each is monogrammed in red cross stitch with the initials “RJ” and each has a loop so can be hung if desired.
Each towel is slightly different in size.
They are almost square and measure approximately 28 1/2” x 29”. Some towels may be slightly larger.
Freshly laundered.
