The slightly sheer, slightly crinkled fabric is made from a blend of 86% cotton, 14% linen, in California, U.S.A. Just throw on sandals, or wear with bare feet! She received her BFA in Fine Arts from University of Victoria majoring in painting and photography. After moving to Los Angeles in the 1990's, she worked as a graphic designer and art director for many years until the arrival of her daughter Charlie. Founded in 2015, Pietsie originally started as a children's clothing label.  Pietsie (pronounced Peet-see) means 'a little bit' in Dutch - a nickname her mother (who emigrated to Canada from Holland) gave her when she was a baby.
