Vintage Iridescent Porcelain LIDDED "OATMEAL" CANISTER ~ Germany Description of item... Here we have a beautiful quality porcelain square LIDDED "OATMEAL" CANISTER with a light iridescent (or opalescent/lusterware?) exterior glaze along with front floral designs and beveled corners - made in Germany. It measures approx. 8" high x 4-1/4" square. It is in excellent maintained (unused/displayed) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...appearing to have never been used, only displayed.  The bottom shows a few very minor rub/scuff marks from shelf movement, not offensive, and is faintly marked , "GERMAN" in green ink. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown.  This item weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material.  I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
